First Place Law Enforcement team will win this unique, beautiful traveling trophy!
On Friday, June 18 Pee Dee Coalition Against Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault will host its second annual Clays for a Cause Clay-Shoot Tournament at the Moree’s Sportsman’s Preserve, located at 1217 Moree Road in Society Hill.
Registration and sign-in for the tournament will begin at 9 a.m. and kick-off is at 10 a.m. Awards will be announced at noon along with a complimentary lunch. Participants must bring their own ammunition and firearm to compete. (Ammo is in short supply for 20-gauge, we encourage you to shoot using a 12-gauge).
Contestants will shoot a total of 100 clays on a 14-station course and may compete individually or in teams of four. Scoring is based on three categories: Best Team Score, Lowest Team Score, and Best Individual Score. The overall winner will take home a brand new traveling trophy, which will grant them free entry to next year’s competition and an opportunity to be a two-year champion. A separate traveling trophy will be awarded to the winning law enforcement team (if your department is not signed up to compete, please contact us!).
Approximately 200 raffle tickets will be available for $20 each or three for $50 and may be purchased online or in-person until sold out. Prizes include a vacation in St. Augustine, Florida, a 65-quart RTIC cooler, a free hunt at the Moree’s Sportsman’s Preserve and several unrevealed takeaways.
Registration is $80 per shooter, and non-shooters can enjoy lunch while they spectate for $25. Carts will be available for $40 and personal carts are welcomed. We encourage participants to use the form below to submit payment ahead of time (this can include shooting cost(s), carts, and raffle tickets), however, registration forms may be mailed in or brought with you on the day of the tournament. Additional forms will be available on-site!
